Receiver- Traver Feed Mill (Day Shift) - Belgravia Complex

Pay Rate $21.48 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• Hours may vary depending on corn shuttle.
• Unload rail cars, hopper bottom, and walking floor trailers and to ensure the product is put into the correct holding bins.
• Take samples for quality assurance.
• Take inventories for Production needs.
• Understanding and operating the transfer system and the whole corn grinding systems.
• Routine inspections of all receiving and grinding systems to ensure proper operations and they are running at their performance levels. Be able detect and correct equipment failures and plugs quickly to minimize down time.
• Perform and oversee the receiving housekeeping procedures are being followed to meet OSHA requirements to ensure to maintain dust to a minimum level. Keeping the housekeeping records documented.
• Keep accurate receiving records of the rail cars and trucks. Coordinate with Operations Supervisor to release cars to the railroad when empty.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work flexible, rotating hours/shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, being able to learn new concepts and procedures quickly.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written; i.e., able to read and understand written instructions) skills.
• Knowledge of computers is desirable.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to move up to 100 pounds
