The Role:

This position oversees staff and activities in our production area to meet safety, production, quality, cost and delivery objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Coach and mentor employees to ensure operating at a level consistent with our customer's needs and Entegris' quality standards

• Evaluate labor and machine capacity to accommodate customer demand and make changes if necessary

• Support organizational goals through Safety, Quality, cost and delivery

• Establish an environment of employee recognition, accountability, and responsibility in support of organizational goals

• Consistent review of labor/machine utilization to optimize productivity and manage cost

• Work cross functionally to improve manufacturing processes and implement an agile profile able to accommodate fluctuations in demand. Responsible for performing to established targets on all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

• Promotes a safe culture, the implementation of safe work practices, and involvement in the SLT committee ensuring safety of employees and visitors within company

• Monitors work area and employees' performance for adherence to safety procedures, work restrictions, cleanliness, and potential hazards

• Implements and monitors continuous quality improvement activities including waste and cost reduction, equipment and tool efficiency and labor planning

• Ensures production methods result in quality products; assists in root cause and corrective action activities in partnership with Quality and Engineering

• Collaborates with production schedulers to ensure capacity, labor, and production plans in alignment with customer demand to meet lead time requirements

• Performs performance management of direct reports; sets clear expectations and drives adherence; develops and cultivates talent

What We Seek:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5+ years of supervisory experience

• Clean room experience required

• Knowledge about Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles

Additional Required Competencies: (Value Additions):

• Drive required EHS activities as the Manufacturing representative of the Site Safety Leadership Team

• Manage front end gamma irradiation process

• Create, populate, track, and verify weekly product transfers for sterilization function

• Communicate "Letter of Intent" documentation via official forms to Steris

• Accountable for all documentation accuracies, completeness, and timing requirements

• Inventory of consumables and non-Bill of Material manufacturing supplies

• Maintain adequate supply, order, receive and transfer as necessary

• Manage all direct manufacturing operator training, assure there is no past due

• Manage and maintain all direct employee timecards, PTO requests and schedules

• Coordinate and route all direct employee human resources and benefit requests. Short Term Disability, FMLA, Etc.

• Fork truck certification

• Coordinate resources and supplies for engineering prototypes/samples

• Support manufacturing engineering activities
