The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Job Description

The People Analytics team collaborates across People & Talent and the WGU organization to uncover data-driven insights, understand the talent lifecycle, solve business challenges, and enable transformational change. The primary purpose and function of the People Analytics Partner I is to support the team in people data and analytics. This includes assisting in the creation of dashboards and visualizations that provide compelling, straightforward insights through storytelling. Additionally, this role will help build data literacy throughout the organization through communication and training on analytics tools.

  • Assistsin creating,maintaining, and distributing insights through metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Supports strategic analysis of workforce data to aid data-driven decision-making.
  • Helps develop and document new processes to accuratelyreport oncritical data.
  • Partners with colleagues and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs,answersquestions, andprovidesrecommendations.
  • Supports People & Talent process improvement projects by delivering metrics to support business case development and change management efforts.
  • Helps tomaintainthe integrity ofpeopledata by supporting accuracy and consistency through routine review, auditing, and identification of data irregularities, escalating issues asappropriate.
  • Assistswith ad-hoc report requests and provides end-user troubleshooting, using tickets or tracking systems. Monitors recurring issues to recommend potential solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Ensures data governance by following policies and guidelines for securing sensitive data, including getting approval before sharing data with new stakeholders and teams.
  • Assists with Workday Reporting and Analytics releases and updates. This may include researching, testing, and communicating changes and enhancements, as applicable.
  • Acts asa dataliteracy advocate by broadening internal knowledge of analytics and tool functionality through job-aids and other training materials.
  • Manages multiple projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, creating plans and timelines, while balancing prioritiesand beingadaptable.
  • Collaborates closely with other team members to brainstorm, strategize, and complete ad hoc requests creatively, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Detail-oriented thinker,exhibitingstrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of data analytics and introductory statistical concepts, with an interest in translating results into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with importing, exporting, and preparing data for use in reports, graphs, and dashboards, with guidance and support.

  • Ability to be a teamplayer thatcontributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Data Science, IO Psychology, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 0-1 years of data analytics, reporting, or visualization experience.
  • Some experience with configuring ormaintainingreports, dashboards, and data visualizations, with guidance as needed.
  • Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements.Generally, equivalentrelevantexperience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker,Quirkos, etc.).
  • Experience in organization and survey design.
  • Experience in Workday reporting, including technical skills in report writing, advanced calculated fields, datasources, andsecurity and dashboard creation and maintenance.
  • Experience with Workday Prism, DiscoveryBoards, Worksheets, and Slides.
  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting.
  • Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Report Writer, Integrations, etc.).

Position & Application Details

Full-Time Regular Positions (classified as regular and working 40 standard weekly hours): This is a full-time, regular position (classified for 40 standard weekly hours) that is eligible for bonuses; medical, dental, vision, telehealth and mental healthcare; health savings account and flexible spending account; basic and voluntary life insurance; disability coverage; accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity supplemental coverages; legal and identity theft coverage; retirement savings plan; wellbeing program; discounted WGU tuition; and flexible paid time off for rest and relaxation with no need for accrual, flexible paid sick time with no need for accrual, 11 paid holidays, and other paid leaves, including up to 12 weeks of parental leave.
