Job Title: Technology Consultant 1

Location(s): Minnetonka, MN

Position Description

• Analyzes existing technology standards, processes, tools, and methods, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Proposes alternative or enhanced technologies and presents recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Conducts pilot testing of new or modified technologies to evaluate feasibility and performance.
• Supports adoption of new technologies by presenting, training, and coaching internal teams.
• Reviews implemented technologies and measures performance to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
• May act as a technology owner for specific applications, providing technical guidance during new product or solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development and implementation of technology solutions or business processes within a specific technical domain.
• Performs analysis, development, testing, and implementation activities using established technical principles and methods.
• Works in a self-managed, goal-oriented manner to achieve short- to medium-term project milestones.
• Solves non-routine technical problems and supports the development of guidelines, tools, and business processes.
• Provides functional guidance and collaborates with operational or semi-professional team members.

Experience & Knowledge

• Typically requires 2-5 years of relevant experience or Master's level entry.
• Solid knowledge of a technical field or business methodology with foundational theoretical understanding.
• Developing business acumen and understanding of organizational objectives.
• Some experience with technical modeling or analytical methods.
• Ability to contribute to process improvement, technical component development, and team deliverables.
