Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for multiple development teams. This role focuses on improving reliability, scalability, and automation across AWS-based systems while partnering closely with engineering teams to implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.

The SRE team designs and maintains containerized infrastructure and deployment pipelines and supports modern cloud-native architectures including serverless and container platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in AWS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets.
• Build automation for testing, deployment, monitoring, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement reliability and DevSecOps best practices.
• Improve release reliability and operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
• Design and develop tools that support reliable application delivery and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems administration experience.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with monitoring or observability platforms such as New Relic, Splunk, or PagerDuty.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and process management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional AWS services such as Cognito, WAF, ElastiCache (Redis), Elasticsearch, SNS, SQS, S3, and Systems Manager.
• Experience scaling and automating Terraform across large environments.
• Knowledge of database infrastructure including RDS, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• .NET Core development experience.
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, and Linux system administration.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid schedule with onsite work required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Contract-to-hire opportunity.
