Job Details
Under direction of a Registered Nurse performs duties in the operating room to assist the surgical team in surgical services such as scrubbing on all types of operative procedures, obtaining and preparing instruments and equipment and maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment. The JHSCS Surgical Technician will flex to the Central Sterile Processing Unit and other areas of the JHSCS when needed to support the daily operations of the JHSCS High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Surgical Technician program or successfully completed an Accelerated Alternative Delivery Surgical Technology (AAD-ST) certificate program. Surgical Technician NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting) certification required Minimum of two years prior experience as a Surgical Technician required. Salary Range: Minimum 26.58/hour - Maximum 43.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
