Production Technician - 2nd Shift

Hexcel is currently seeking a Production Technician for our Seguin, TX, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Overhaul machines according to a predetermined schedule. Perform preventive maintenance on preparation production machinery including troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing parts as needed.

• Perform tension checks on machines on a weekly basis to ensure that yarn is running according to product specifications. Adjust tensions and controls as necessary.

• Monitor machines and repair problems to ensure efficient operations.

• Inspect maintenance equipment and tools regularly to ensure that all necessary equipment is in working order.

• Perform 5S as required by department best practices.

• Must operate in the boundaries of Lean Principles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, minimum.

• Demonstration of strong mechanical aptitude required.

• Ability to drive forklift and pass forklift operator exam with a 70% or higher.

• Regular attendance on company premises is required.
