A Taste of What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our winery operations running smoothly and safely every day. In this hands-on role, you'll take on advanced mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting across a wide range of production equipment, including wine processing, filtration, and packaging systems. You'll respond to maintenance needs with urgency, collaborate closely with cross functional teams, and help ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will serve as a technical problem-solver, diagnosing mechanical issues, repairing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance to keep production on track. Your ability to interpret technical documents, evaluate equipment performance, and uphold GMP and safety standards will make you a trusted expert within the facility.

This role also supports continuous improvement, documentation of repair activities, and training and guidance for Maintenance Tech 1 team members. You'll help cultivate a safe workplace, partner with vendor contractors as needed, and ensure equipment is functioning within specifications. Every day brings something new-and your skills will directly contribute to creating world-class products.

What You'll Need

*High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associates degree or 2 year Technical Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Maintenance and Repair plus 3 years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

*Experience working in a manufacturing, production, industrial mechanical or automotive environment.

*Required to work assigned shift (day, swing, and graveyard) and weekends and overtime as needed.

*Required to conduct work at heights.

*Required to lift and carry tools and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

*Required to work in a tight and confined space.

*Required to provide own basic hand tools.

*Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.

*Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.

*Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel at a basic level.

*Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

*Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
