Job Purpose:

SGS is seeking a Sr. Quality Supervisor to support our SGS organization. In this critical role, you will drive operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and strategic execution across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on; someone who anticipates needs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates discretion, initiative, and strong analytical thinking.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages the activities of the Quality team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.
• Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
• Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality assurance requirements and considerations.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• CAR/CCN & RCA Management. Lead and manage Corrective Action Request and Customer Complain Notification processes while been able to mentor the functional teams on root cause analysis process.
• Perform Internal and Supplier Audits.
• Management representative responsibilities for QMS.
• Achieve various certifications for the organization as the need arises (ex. ISO 13485).

Education and Experience:

• BS in a related Engineering discipline
• 3+ years experience as a Quality Supervisor/Manager with outsourcing and contract
• manufacturing dealing with complex electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Proven record in problem solving and implementation of a quality system such as ISO 9001 and
• AS9100 and IPC standards.
• Solid experience in Internal Audits and Supplier Management, along with knowledge of working in inspection environment.
• Administering customer complaint management following documented methods and procedures
• Strong familiarity with Design Transfer and Process Validation requirements.
• Strong background in reflow, wave soldering, all SMT processes, and the related equipment,
• Thru-Hole technology and process development with the ability to serve as a lead for all quality related issues.
• Ability to multi-task, strong time management skills, strong analytical skills, and experience using statistical tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of technology including MS Office/Google Suite and Internet resources is expected.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean/statistical tools is preferred as is Black Belt certification.

Salary Range (annual): $90,000 - $120,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
