As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading tech, media, and telecom location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office, lab, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and access control issues.
• Monitor entry points and verify identification, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; assist with badge issuance and check-in processes as required by post orders.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site leadership and public responders per site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and policy violations; use required systems to document observations, preserve chain of custody for found property, and support follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
