Mobile Field Service Technician Manager

As the Mobile Technician Manager you will oversee all aspects of the mobile service department's operations, including team leadership, workflow management, customer service, and ensuring the highest standards of repair and maintenance are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with diesel engines, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage and develop a remote, high-performing team.

Requirements

Your Role:

  • Lead and support service technicians daily.
  • Monitor productivity and implement improvements.
  • Resolve technician-related issues.
  • Conduct quality control inspections (QCIs) and safety audits.
  • Travel to technician and customer locations as needed.
  • Promote and enforce safe work habits.
  • Manage technician training and development.
  • Ensure alignment with company goals and initiatives.
  • Provide timely feedback and communication to management.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years in a high-volume mobile/fleet service environment.
  • 5+ years of truck or automotive repair experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing a remote fleet at a regional/national level.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Proficient in using technology, apps, and online systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.

What We Offer?

  • Compensation: Salary to $95K/year - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
