Position Summary

The Corporate HR Manager reports to the Director, Corporate HR, and provides strategic and tactical support of all areas of HR for designated corporate functions. Partnering with corporate functional leaders, consults on HR policy and procedures, with ownership of the short-term and delivery of the long-term HR strategies for designated functions and unique team member needs in each business, including global functions. Through a strong relationship with other HR teams and centers of excellence, you will be key in leading the work in the areas of strategic workforce planning, organization design, talent management and attraction, employee relations, leader development, team member engagement and diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop human resource strategies and solutions for corporate and functional leaders in alignment with their business objectives and implementation of the Win Strategy business system. Guide, coach and provide resources to corporate functional leaders on people and organizational issues.
  • Ensure effective execution of key strategic corporate and enterprise HR initiatives across the functions globally. Initiatives include those that build or provide services for team members and leader acquisition, development, engagement, placement, and retention. Actively collaborates with HR colleagues across groups, regions, and countries to ensure the successful implementation of HR initiatives that are implemented through the functions globally.
  • Plan, design, and implement an integrated talent deployment system for the corporate and functional groups including strategic workforce planning, talent reviews, development planning, performance management process (appraisal, performance plans, compensation planning), succession planning, integrated career and job system, Intern and Leadership Development Program strategies.
  • Provide a full spectrum of HR services. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, direction to managers and team members in the resolution of problems related to company policy and benefits, facilitating an engaged work environment through wellness, safety, corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Champion company culture and management practices aligned with our Purpose and Values, including high performance work teams, team member recognition and inclusion.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree acquired (Master's Preferred) in a relevant discipline combined with 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally at the plant and corporate level in a large, global manufacturing company.
  • Ability to interact and develop excellent relationships with team members and leaders and adept at operating in a global, matrixed environment to develop and execute people strategies and actions.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and initiative to analyze and resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collectively to accomplish assignments; a doer who can get the work done.
  • Engaging and compassionate leader who can handle delicate situations with a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, decorum, and tact.
  • Strong business acumen and broad-based business knowledge; understands all aspects of how a business operates and how HR impacts business performance.
  • Understanding of change management.
