UNC WAYNE IS HIRING A PER DIEM HOSPITALIST IN GOLDSBORO, NC

UNC Health Wayne is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. This position involves delivering high-quality, team-based inpatient services. Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the vibrant state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. Schedule: 7am-7pm (2 or more shifts a month)

UNC Wayne is a modern facility with 316 Acute Care Beds 120+ year history

• 38 Emergency Beds
• 4 Trauma beds
• 4 Behavioral Health Beds
• 15 Bed ICU (Closed)
• 8 Bed Labor and Delivery Unit
• 26 Bed Nursery
• 22 Bed Behavioral Health Unit
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• One or more years of experience working as a Hospitalist
• Internal Medicine Residency preferred
• Board Certified IM or FM

Education Requirements:

• Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

• Board Certified Internal Medicine
• DEA;ACLS;MD

• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
