RN Clinic - Dermatology - Mission Valley & Liberty Station

This is a benefited, full time position generally working Mondays and Wednesdays at Mission Valley, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Liberty Station from 8am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. Travel to other sites as needed.

What you'll do:

• Function as the sole RN in the clinic, providing direct patient care, leading a team of LVNs and MAs, and ensuring the seamless coordination of biologic therapies and prior authorizations.
• This position is about 60% administrative (phones, epic messaging, prior authorizations and appeals, etc) and 40% direct, face-to-face patient care.
• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma

Required Certification/Registration:

• CA RN license
• American Heart Association BLS

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• BSN
• RN working experience in Dermatology to include Botox for Hyperhidrosis and PDT application
• RN Clinic/Outpatient experience
