Your Role at Cabot: Cabot has an exciting opportunity for a Pilot Plant Chemical Operator at the Pampa Development and Manufacturing Center. This position operates chemical process systems and related equipment performing all tasks in a safe manner and following plant safety policies and procedures. Employees in this role will be able to perform all aspects of the chemical process cycle once fully trained.

How You'll Make an Impact:
Controls chemical processes and operates all related equipment using the distributed control system (DCS). Follows work instructions (WI), standard operating procedures (SOP), and other written instructions.
Adjusts controls to regulate variables as per instructions. Performs set up procedures to prepare systems for operation. Collect product samples. Properly and safely handle, mix, store, and dispose of chemicals
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)
Manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to details. General mechanical aptitude. Able to read and interpret complex operating instructions. Ability to do basic math operations and unit conversions. High level of safety awareness and attention to details.

The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will depend on the candidate skill, qualifications, and experience.
