POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

The IT Solutions Architect, Lead - Procore, will be a key member of the IT Solutions Engineering and Strategy team within Moss's Energy division. This role is responsible for shaping end-to-end solution architecture, defining future-state roadmaps, and leading the deployment of technology solutions aligned with business priorities.

They'll guide the design, testing, and implementation of strategic initiatives within Procore and related construction management or EPC platforms, serving as the enterprise lead for Procore within the Energy division, partnering closely with project teams, project managers, business line leaders, and division leadership to standardize workflows, drive adoption, and ensure consistent execution across projects.

With deep expertise in construction and EPC processes, from project setup through closeout, this leader will translate jobsite realities into scalable, practical standards. They'll evaluate market trends, identify business challenges, and deliver solutions that improve safety, quality, schedule, and cost outcomes while staying within budget and design constraints.

In addition, the IT Solutions Architect, Lead - Procore, will mentor team members, support change management in the field, and maintain feedback loops to ensure solutions remain effective and field-ready.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with product and process owners to align business processes, solutions, and data standards.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of new or enhanced workflows, including planning, site readiness, pilots, cutover strategies, and go-live support.

  • Design and architect Procore solutions, collaborating with cross-functional architects to integrate with ERP and other enterprise systems.

  • Conduct business process and data analysis to develop scalable, organization-wide Procore solutions.

  • Support project teams in documenting current-state processes and identifying opportunities to improve execution, efficiency, and consistency.

  • Develop and present execution and technology solutions within Procore to address complex operational requirements.

  • Coordinate across disciplines and practices to optimize workflows, improve data management, and ensure seamless system integration.

  • Serve as a liaison between construction teams and technology vendors, support integrations with ERP and related platforms.

  • Configure and optimize forms, logs, dashboards, and reports to meet operational needs.

  • Track adoption and data quality using defined KPIs; partner with project leadership to drive corrective actions.

  • Identify system limitations, translate field needs into enhancement requests, and help influence vendor product roadmaps.

  • Travel to project sites to observe workflows, coach teams, capture pain points, and share best practices.

  • Coordinate with vendors on releases, feature functionality, known issues, and validation of fixes; communicate impacts to project teams.

  • Lead cross-functional working sessions to resolve process gaps and improve project handoffs.

  • Support evaluations and pilots of new tools and features, defining success criteria and providing go/no-go recommendations.

  • Act as an escalation point for process and adoption challenges, drive issues through resolution.

  • Mentor team members and project champions to build sustainable, onsite capabilities.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field required.

  • 6+ years of experience in IT construction operations with strong technology exposure.

  • Proven experience with Procore, including leading development, testing, and implementation of strategic initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of construction and engineering processes across the project lifecycle.

  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle Fusion and Primavera P6 preferred.

  • Expertise in field workflows, including document control, RFIs, submittals, quality, safety, scheduling, and closeout.

  • Demonstrated experience with cost control processes (contracts, budgets, change orders, etc.).

  • Experience developing SOPs, delivering training, and driving adoption across multiple implementations preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate business and user needs into scalable, platform-based solutions.

  • Experience supporting change management and field adoption initiatives preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
