We are looking for a flexible and motivated Senior Aviation Planner with a genuine passion for the aviation industry and a desire to make a difference in the world.

We are looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow within a multidisciplinary team. You'll be involved in a diverse range of aviation projects, supporting planning and design efforts across airfield, terminal, landside, and operational domains.

To be considered for this role, candidates will ideally possess:



  • A university degree or college diploma in engineering, architecture, planning. Experience or academic focus in aviation management or transportation planning is a plus. Candidates with economics, sustainability, finance or business-related studies may also be considered.
  • Proven experience with aviation planning, including the development of master plans, layout plans, facility requirements, and feasibility studies.
  • Demonstrated capability in planning using FAA advisory circulars, TRB ACRP guidelines and other industry standards
    Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools to produce airfield or terminal building spatial planning outputs
  • Competency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with industry specific tools such as AviPlan, AirTOP, CAST is desirable.
  • Experience with tools such as Infraworks, Navisworks, Revit, or other 3D visualization software is a plus
  • Working knowledge of simulation and modelling tools for airfield and terminal and the ability to manage others to use them to deliver capacity and demand analysis outputs.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, airport operations and aviation development programs.

  • Expertise in project and programme management with contractual knowledge and the ability deliver commercially successful projects.
  • Ability to manage and supervise project teams, including the desire to train junior staff in developing new skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, enabling confident interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to build and nurture client relationships, to identify and secure opportunities for follow-on work and new prospects.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings, impactful presentations, and professional reports.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position is $152,000 - $186,000.
