Director of Programs are Corporate Real Estate generalists that advise Clients on various aspects of Corporate Real Estate delivery. They act as Trusted Advisors that facilitate execution from idea to occupancy which enables our clients to focus on alignment between business objectives and real estate solutions. They identify key priorities and communicate scope for each project and work to align organizational stakeholders with the project objectives. This role will lead the delivery team and stakeholders to ensure quality, speed, predictability and Business-Enabling real estate outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Partner relationship/interface for all assigned project and initiatives

  • Partner with service lines and stakeholders to develop and implement real estate solutions

  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage and engage stakeholders, including clients and key business partners, ensuring their interests are considered, their input is sought, and their concerns are addressed throughout the project or program

  • Establish a "Trusted Advisor" relationship with Client counterparts as a Corporate Real Estate SME

  • Drive awareness to established frameworks and demonstrate agility and creativity to meet dynamic business needs during real estate project delivery

  • Develop and document organizational vision and strategic priorities that align real estate initiatives with business objectives

  • Formulate comprehensive strategies and recommendations for the workplace and corporate real estate delivery

  • Escalate risks throughout the organization appropriately

  • Manage the approval process for all assigned projects

  • Effectively lead the teams by clearly communicating expectations, accountabilities and providing performance feedback for continuous improvement

  • Apply real estate development frameworks and methodologies to achieve project/initiative objectives

  • Integrate service delivery platform and resources while effectively managing handoffs and engagements between:

    • Transaction Management

    • Occupancy Planning

    • Project Management

    • Facility Management

    • Experience Services

  • Provide regular Executive level dashboard or presentation reporting on project performance across the assigned portfolio

  • Identify strategic opportunities that enhance value creation by understanding how business strategies and priorities which real estate can be leverage effectively for the client/business partners to meet their commitments

Skill Requirements/Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle management including executing complex projects with multiple workstreams

  • Ability to manage and oversee a multi-disciplinary team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback

  • Proven experience in Construction Project Management and Program Management

  • Deep knowledge of workplace strategy and workplace dynamics, including understanding of how physical environments impact business performance and employee experience

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and document strategic vision, establish organizational priorities, and create actionable strategies and recommendations

  • Proven experience in real estate development processes and expertise in applying industry frameworks and methodologies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive approach to identifying project/program roadblocks and implementing corrective actions to keep the projects/program on track

  • Strong customer-facing skills with experience in managing real estate projects including anticipating customer needs

  • Superior communication management skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Proven ability to manage client expectations and provide strategic solutions aligned with client objectives

  • Excellent program reporting and documentation, including status updates, progress reports, and lessons learned

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and developing new processes to address complex challenges

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

BA/BS Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management and Interior design

8+ Years

Estimated compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
