Description Are you a Supplier Development Manager looking to join one of the top companies in the Aerospace industry? Do you have hands on experience working with Suppliers in the Space Business? The position is 100% remote with our client . This will be a 3-year commitment Here's what you'd do: Manage supplier performance across multiple contracts to ensure schedule compliance, product conformity, and contractual requirements. Lead on-site capacity & capability assessments (NPI, production readiness (MRR), supplier selection) and developed supplier recovery plans to restore delivery and quality targets. Drive corrective action investigations and supplier PDCA cycles; coached supplier teams on RCCA, PFMEA, and implemented skills matrices and targeted training. Monitor supplier KPIs and provided cross-functional performance communications to internal stakeholders, enabling data-driven escalation and mitigation. Perform internal AS9100 audits and maintained site certification readiness through surveillance and corrective action closure. APPLY TODAY Job Requirements Required Skills: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Space business and processes knowledge. Minimum 10 years of proven manufacturing/production experience with shopfloor experience. Preferred Skills: Demonstrated experience in driving end-to-end recovery plans at supplier premises. Ability to drive teams and communicate at all levels (from operators to CEO). Lean and/or Six sigma expertise (Lean 6 Sigma Back Belt is a plus). Supply-Chain/planning expertise (APICS certified is a plus). Problem solving / root-cause analysis (9S / 8D / Shainin).
