The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday) * Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
  • Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28.

A VIE for Finance S&S Business controlling analyst) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters / Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) / Name of the Subsidiary) in (Location). You will join Airbus SAS.

Reporting to the Head of S&S Business Controlling, the VIE AHI Finance S&S Business Controlling Analyst will be a key member of the Airbus Helicopters Inc. Finance team in Grand Prairie, TX. This dynamic and organized professional will support the increasing demands of the Airbus Helicopters North America Support & Services Business Controlling department.

You will play a vital role in providing financial data, supporting performance management, and optimizing financial reporting tools to drive efficiency and innovation within the team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:

    • Perform detailed financial data analysis and reporting for Support & Services activities.

    • Conduct in-depth cost and trend analysis, including PBH (Part per Hour) coverage costs.

    • Analyze repair costs per component and equipment (unit cost).

    • Support contract reviews with customers, ensuring compliance with Airbus accounting requirements.

    • Investigate and analyze maintenance costs and reliability.

  • Business & Project Support:

    • Provide dedicated support to business controllers and partners for financial performance management.

    • Assist in the implementation of business controlling projects, such as lean manufacturing and industrial engineering initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

    • Support the LEAP project, which focuses on optimizing helicopter maintenance costs.

    • Identify opportunities for cost efficiency and propose optimization ideas.

  • Digital Transformation & Process Improvement:

    • Champion the implementation of new AI tools, Google Suite applications, and other digital transformation initiatives.

    • Support the business in finding innovative solutions to enhance internal efficiency and performance.

    • Propose new ideas and strive for continuous improvement in financial reporting and processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in a financial or engineering role, particularly within an Airbus or Airbus Helicopters organization, is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • A proactive, self-motivated, and autonomous work ethic.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.

  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of building and maintaining effective relationships.

Un poste d'analyste en controle de gestion (VIE Finance S&S) est a pourvoir au sein d'Airbus Helicopters, USA.

Rattache(e) au Responsable du Controle de Gestion S&S, l'analyste en controle de gestion (VIE Finance AHI) sera un membre cle de l'equipe Finance d'Airbus Helicopters Inc. a Grand Prairie, au Texas. Ce professionnel dynamique et organise contribuera a repondre aux besoins croissants du departement Controle de Gestion des Activites Support & Services d'Airbus Helicopters Amerique du Nord.

Vous jouerez un role essentiel dans la fourniture de donnees financieres, le soutien a la gestion de la performance et l'optimisation des outils de reporting financier afin de favoriser l'efficacite et l'innovation au sein de l'equipe.

Principales responsabilites :

Analyse et reporting financiers :

  • Realiser des analyses et des reportings financiers detailles pour les activites Support & Services.
  • Effectuer des analyses approfondies des couts et des tendances, y compris les couts de couverture PBH (Piece par Heure).
  • Analyser les couts de reparation par composant et equipement (cout unitaire).
  • Participer aux revues de contrats avec les clients, en veillant au respect des exigences comptables d'Airbus.
  • Etudier et analyser les couts de maintenance et la fiabilite.

Soutien aux activites et aux projets:

  • Apporter un soutien dedie aux controleurs de gestion et aux partenaires pour la gestion de la performance financiere.
  • Contribuer a la mise en uvre de projets de controle de gestion, tels que les initiatives de production au plus juste et d'ingenierie industrielle, en veillant a leur realisation dans les delais, le perimetre et le budget impartis.
  • Soutenir le projet LEAP, axe sur l'optimisation des couts de maintenance des helicopteres.
  • Identifier les opportunites de reduction des couts et proposer des pistes d'optimisation.

Transformation numerique et amelioration des processus:

  • Piloter le deploiement de nouveaux outils d'IA, des applications Google Suite et d'autres initiatives de transformation numerique.
  • Accompagner l'entreprise dans la recherche de solutions innovantes pour ameliorer son efficacite et sa performance internes.
  • Proposer de nouvelles idees et viser l'amelioration continue des processus et du reporting financier.

Qualifications:

  • Licence en finance, ingenierie ou domaine connexe.
  • Une experience dans un role financier ou d'ingenierie, notamment au sein d'Airbus ou d'Airbus Helicopters, est un atout.
  • Excellentes competences en communication en anglais, a l'ecrit comme a l'oral.
  • Solides competences organisationnelles et excellentes aptitudes d'analyse et de resolution de problemes.
  • Esprit d'initiative, autonomie et forte motivation.
  • Maitrise de Google Suite et/ou de Microsoft Office.
