You think strategically about business opportunities, understand how to translate customer and partner needs into clear technical requirements, and excel at driving cross functional alignment to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You are passionate about the Android ecosystem and exercise sound judgment to identify and prioritize high impact opportunities. As a trusted partner advocate, you will collaborate with account managers, engineering, and product teams to build scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions that enhance user experience and accelerate adoption.

Lenovo is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) focused on Android to drive strategic product alignment, partner integrations, and innovation across our UDS (User, Device, Service) platform-our cloud and AI driven foundation for delivering next generation Android and device experiences.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partner & Ecosystem Development

  • Lead business development efforts with key Android app partners to expand Lenovo's ecosystem and drive adoption of high value apps and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new Android app partnerships aligned with Lenovo's UDS strategy and device value propositions.
  • Build strong, long term relationships with Android developers and publishers.

Product & Integration Leadership

  • Define product requirements (PRDs) for Android app integrations, partner features, and user experience improvements.
  • Lead cross functional integration projects with Engineering, Product, UX, and Cloud Platform teams to enable seamless app onboarding and deployment.

Go to Market & Performance Management

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and GTM teams to drive app adoption, registrations, trial to paid conversion rates, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Analyze partnership performance using metrics, telemetry, and user insights to optimize app engagement and monetization.
  • Track progress of Android partner integrations, manage delivery timelines, and maintain clear communication with leadership and cross functional stakeholders.

About You

  • Comfortable engaging with partners, executives, engineers, and sales teams-able to discuss both business value and technical implementation.
  • Skilled at influencing without authority and managing complex change efforts through relationships and strategic communication.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the technology field, particularly in customer-facing and partner-facing roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Android app ecosystems, mobile software delivery, SaaS, B2B2C deployment models, and partner engagement.
  • Familiar with telemetry, datadriven product decisions, and user experience testing.
  • Knowledgeable in Android platform technologies, mobile app architecture, and cloudconnected services (Windows and PC ecosystem knowledge also a plus).
This position will be remote-based within the U.S.
