Could you be the full-time onsite PI EHS Site Advisor in Philadelphia, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates. You'll make a meaningful impact by ensuring compliance with EHS rules and fostering a safe and sustainable work environment for both Alstom employees and contractors during the testing and commissioning phases of equipment and trains. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (permit offices, supervisors, employees/contractors, and the prime contractor), conduct inspections and monitoring on-site, support risk assessments, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Performing inspections and monitoring on-site activities to ensure safety compliance. ,



  • Overseeing work permits and ensuring adherence to required protocols. ,



  • Supporting employees and contractors in conducting risk assessments. ,



  • Providing coaching and guidance to supervisors regarding EHS best practices. ,



  • Delivering EHS induction sessions for contractors and employees. ,



  • Managing contractors and ensuring their compliance with EHS standards. ,



  • Organizing and participating in EHS committee activities. ,



  • Investigating accidents, following up on actions, and implementing corrective measures. ,



  • Preparing and broadcasting monthly toolbox talks. ,



  • Reviewing and qualifying contractor EHS documentation and monitoring compliance.

  • Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field (preferred but not required). ,



  • Experience or understanding of EHS practices, with a minimum of 2 years in Environment, Health & Safety. ,



  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO45001 standards. ,



  • Familiarity with construction or railway industry environments. ,



  • A certification or communication skill: Strong written English communication skills. ,



  • Demonstrated leadership skills. ,



  • Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Outlook, etc.). ,



  • Strong teamwork and people skills. ,



  • Initiative, action-driven mindset, and the ability to coach and influence others. ,



  • Analytical thinking with a rigorous and detail-oriented approach.
