POSITION SUMMARYThe Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for fostering a culture of health and wellness at our new corporate office. This includes managing the day-to-day operations of our on-site fitness center - ensuring a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for team members. Additionally, this role will create and manage group fitness classes and provide basic orientation and guidance to users. In support of our broader health and wellness strategies, this role will partner with our on-site catering team to develop unique nutrition programs and education. Lastly, this role will support the execution of broader health and wellness programs at U.S. Venture.

This position is located in Appleton, WI. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations of the corporate fitness center, including cleanliness, equipment functionality, and safety.
  • Greet and assist team members using the fitness center; answer questions and provide basic fitness guidance.
  • Conduct orientations for team members, including equipment walkthroughs, safety, and usage instructions.
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and communication of group fitness classes and wellness-related events.
  • Direct team members to Marquee for health coaching. Encourage and support PHA's.
  • Coordinating and communicating programs like massage and physical therapy.
  • Establishes and tracks KPI's to measure the success of programs and usage.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute nutrition and education programming in partnership with our in-house catering team. This includes programs such as interactive lunch-and-learns, cooking demonstrations, creative menus, and wellness challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Program Manager to support broader health and wellness initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Report maintenance needs and coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing.

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification required; personal training or group fitness certification a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a fitness center or gym environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with fitness equipment and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting group fitness classes or wellness programming.
  • Comfortable engaging with team members across all levels of the organization.
