The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects. This position integrates project management oversight with on-site leadership, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, budget, and schedule.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan, budget, and manage industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee field operations, site safety, and subcontractor performance.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing for procurement of materials and equipment, including long-lead industrial components.
  • Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Prepare progress reports, track costs, and manage changes.
  • Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
  • Ensure city permits are submitted and all projects comply with city requirements.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or safety.
  • Optimize resource allocation and improve efficiency to reduce project expenses.
  • Analyze project workflows to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years' experience in industrial, heavy civil, or large commercial projects (manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or utilities preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in MS Project.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
