Connected Benefits Technical Consultant

Work independently, as well as with clients, vendors, and Aon internal and external teams. This is a virtual role with the flexibility to work anywhere in the Continental United States.

What the day will look like

  • Work independently on assigned clients and projects, supporting operational efficiency, and technology solutions,
  • Lead projects of significant size and complexity from beginning to end and seamlessly work with a geographically disbursed group of colleagues passionate about revenue growth, client delivery, and retention goals.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the client's benefit implementation and holds all teams accountable to project plan dates, decision process and a successful implementation
  • Understands SaaS solutions and functional aspects of benefit administration identifying potential gaps and functional impacts to be addressed early and avoid Implementation and ongoing issues.
  • Ensures the Aon and Benefit Administration teams are delivering outstanding service to clients and their plan participants. Drives Search & Selection (S&S) new projects regarding process, work product, and providing insights into overall project work to the client.
  • Supports RFP opportunities tied to Benefits Consulting with Technology needs.
  • Leads discovery conversation in conjunction with Sales Consultants, Producers and AE to understand clients/prospects technology needs, Balance multiple clients and proactively handle client-level impacts across the platform (indirectly).
  • Understands the contractual agreements of Aon's subcontractors, agreements (SOW's) in place with clients to ensure successful attainment of Service Level Agreements for our clients.
  • Addresses critical issues to resolve quickly and provide efficient communication with all collaborators (i.e., H&B client teams, clients, and panel partners).
  • Participates in ad hoc projects to support Aon business needs

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of 5+ years in Benefits Administration Client Management
  • Health & Life License will be required within 6 months of employment

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $125,000 - $140,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
