This is an incredible opportunity to drive success within the engineering and research sectors and profoundly shape the employee experience. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive work environment, directly impacting how employees connect, collaborate, and thrive.

**About the Role:**

You will be instrumental in managing internal events, overseeing annual departmental budgets, and supporting overall site operations. This role is crucial for planning and executing a variety of events, fostering community engagement, and managing annual budgets for a key department. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for customer service and professionalism, eager to tackle challenges and create a vibrant workplace, this is the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact.

**What You'll Do:**

* Support leadership in maintaining a rhythm of business that drives core priorities and encourages best practice sharing across various teams.

* Contribute to and implement strategic initiatives and cross-group projects, developing successful metrics and communication approaches.

* Partner with communication teams to deliver effective internal (meetings, presentations, newsletters) and external (community engagement, customer, partner relations) strategies that reinforce company values and brand presence.

* Collaborate with leaders and internal champions to shape a positive, inclusive, and innovative culture within our teams.

* Execute programs supporting strategic initiatives focused on engaging communities and ecosystems, tracking and communicating progress against success metrics.

* Work with relevant teams to deliver programming that cultivates a positive, inclusive, and innovative culture.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with peers across different teams to ensure robust cross-group collaboration.

* Partner with finance and business program managers to support financial planning and budgeting, including expense reporting, budget tracking, and reconciliation.

* Plan and execute a wide range of meetings, events, and partnerships, both internal and external.

* Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes and drive efficiencies.

* Exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all communications and interactions.

**What You'll Bring:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor/associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

* 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in operations management and execution, with a strong focus on event coordination rather than purely administrative tasks.

* Exceptional influence and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to achieve results by working effectively across a highly matrixed organization.

* An aptitude for working independently without significant oversight or instruction, consistently delivering accurate and detailed results under deadline pressure.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Strong self-starter qualities, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving.
