Position Title: Blender Operator

Wage: $18.50 - $22.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 12:30pm - 8:30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Blender Operator at a company in St. Francis, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now!

Blender Operator Responsibilities:

- Operate industrial blending and mixing equipment to produce food and spice products according to production schedules and batch formulas

- Weigh, measure and load raw ingredients into blenders in accordance with established recipes and specifications

- Monitor blending processes to ensure proper mixing times, speeds and product consistency

- Make adjustments to equipment or processes as needed to ensure consistent quality and efficient production

- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers and cleaning between batches

- Perform basic troubleshooting of blending equipment and report mechanical issues to maintenance or supervision

- Disassemble, clean and reassemble blending equipment following sanitation, allergen control and food safety procedures

- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately

- Follow all quality control guidelines, food safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements for Blender Operator:

- Previous experience as a blender operator or in food manufacturing preferred

- Ability to follow batch formulas, recipes, and written instructions accurately

- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety and sanitation procedures preferred

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

- Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, push and pull

- Ability to lift, carry, and move raw materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

- Ability to handle bags, containers, and ingredients used in food and spice production

- Manual dexterity and coordination required to operate blending equipment and controls

- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

- Visual acuity required for reading batch sheets, measuring ingredients, and inspecting product quality

- Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment

- Comfortable working around spice dust, strong aromas, noise, varying temperatures, and food-grade cleaning chemicals

- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hairnets, gloves, safety glasses, respirators (if required), and hearing protection
