Registered Nurse - Operating Room Washington DC Pay From $ 60 MUST: Registered Nurse Operating Room Experienced Registered Nurse 1-3 plus years of experience in the operating room Experience working in a surgery center Working with Orthopedic, Joint, Sports Medicine Certifications valid Registered Nurse License in District of Columbia. Valid BLS BSN a plus ACLS PALS Must possess sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skills DUTIES: Registered Nurse Operating Room The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following: Scrub and or circulate in the OR Assisting surgeons with procedures Monitor vital signs Patient documentation Ability to hear and orally communicate. Ability to read, comprehend, and write English language. Manual dexterity. Moderate physical effort; Physical mobility with ability to lift, push or pull up to and including 35 lbs. Walking, standing, sitting for prolonged periods. Handling of patients including lifts, rolls, transfers, etc. with the use of mandatory Safe Patient Lifting Equipment. Ability to perform CPR and respond to emergency situations including potential takedowns or restraints. Ability to appropriately wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
