Sr. Software Engineer

Sabre Systems is currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to support the Systems Engineering Development and Implementation Center (SEDIC) with the development of custom enterprise web-based applications on an agile, high-performance team.

• Develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems designed to support new or existing requirements
• Develop and utilize system models (UML and SysML) to document system design and capture traceability from requirements to capabilities
• Ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements through testing
• Performs maintenance programming for existing versions and features
• Support existing users to utilize current application features
• Participate in user forums to capture feedback and solicit improvements from user community
• Work as a virtual team member in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Assist with outlining strategies and development methodologies to improve deliverables

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Experience with development of enterprise-level web applications serving hundreds to thousands of users
• Detailed knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript (client and server/Node.js), HTML, CSS, CORS
• Experience designing databases, both structured (i.e. SQLServer) and unstructured (i.e. MongoDB)
• Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD clearance.
• Selected candidate will need to pass a background investigation.
