Peachford is a 246-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the well-established North Atlanta Dunwoody neighborhood. We feature individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offer inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Nearly 10,000 patients receive compassionate care from our health care team each year and we have providing compassionate care since 1973.

A Registered Nurse (RN) at Peachford delivers quality nursing care to patients with a variety of psychiatric, behavioral and addictive disease diagnoses. Our Nurses develop interdisciplinary treatment plans and monitor each patient's progress toward those goals. RNs administer medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. Nurses communicate changes in patient's status with physicians while playing a pivotal role in patient and family education. And above all else, our RNs pledge to keep our patients safe.


Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Georgia
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Interest or experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.
