Ops Travel Coordinator Overview: Sun Country Airlines is seeking an Ops Travel Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective travel logistics of crewmembers and maintenance Technicians. This position is responsible for day-to-day booking, auditing, and oversight of travel arrangements, including hotels, ground transportation, and deadhead flights. The Ops Travel Coordinator(s) are the central point of contact, to ensure operational integrity by managing immediate travel requirements and proactive planning for future travel needs. Coordinators are responsible for prioritizing tasks to provide timely and accurate support and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced operations environment. Ops Travel Coordinators provide real time support to crewmembers for resolving travel related issues such as hotel check-ins, last-minute schedule changes, ground transportation delays, and unexpected operational disruptions. Compensation: Pay $18.50 USD per hour. This is the base compensation for this role. Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Location: Minneapolis, MN (onsite) Supervisory Responsibility: None Work Environment: Office-based position, primarily sedentary, computer based with constant phone and email and other electronic communication. Fast-paced, detail-oriented environment requires proactive decision-making. May require extended hours and variable scheduling during weather events, irregular operations, or high travel demand for Scheduled Service, Charter and Cargo flying. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
