Apply Later Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges?
You've come to the right place.
YOUR IMPACT
You will work in teams as a specialist practitioner to solve pressing and complex issues for clients through deploying analytical tools, as well as supporting the development of new proprietary tools, benchmarking databases and market perspectives.
In this role, you will often work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, playing an active role in client engagements. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses and developing communication and recommendations. You'll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.
You'll focus on building and scaling analytical solutions used for engagement across portfolio optimization, project development and value improvement, project execution, cost and schedule diagnostic. You will also prepare detailed cost estimates and budget forecasts for large-scale capital projects using advanced software tools and internal proprietary databases.
You will contribute to McKinsey's industry knowledge by staying up to date with the latest in the capital projects industry and you will contribute to proprietary models and analyses. This includes gathering the information necessary to develop these tools and synthesize your findings into McKinsey formatted products. These products may be in the form of complex models and summary reports which evolve into standalone presentations that outline key findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
You will have the opportunity to gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your teams. Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues-at all levels-will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won't find anywhere else.
