Role Summary

The Service Desk Specialist provides front-line technical support that keeps our colleagues connected, productive, and secure. In this role, you'll resolve diverse technical issues, support executive leadership, and help maintain the reliability of our technology environment. You'll grow your expertise across hardware, software, and customer service while contributing to a highly collaborative IT team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver level 1 technical support for onsite/offsite colleagues across devices, software, and network services.

  • Provide concierge-level support for executive leadership, including video conference and desk-side assistance.

  • Troubleshoot and document incidents clearly in the tracking system while guiding non-technical users through resolutions.

  • Install and reinstall software on end-user devices when needed.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies, including DLP, encryption, malware, spam, and secure email procedures.

  • Coordinate incident resolution with IT and business partners, escalating urgent issues promptly.

  • Maintain accurate knowledge base articles and SOP documentation.

  • Follow up with colleagues to confirm successful resolution and a positive support experience.

Education & Experience Required
  • Associate degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.

  • Less than 2 years of technical service desk or related experience.

Preferred
  • 2+ years of technical service desk or related experience.

  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, ITIL, or HDI.
