Job Title: Data Cleanup Specialist.
Location(s): Agoura, CA.

Description:

  • We are seeking detail-oriented temporary data cleanup specialists to support our data management initiatives. The role involves reviewing, validating, and consolidating company records, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple data points.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, meticulous, and comfortable working with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Company Record Review: Examine company records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Address and Name Validations: Validate company addresses and names, ensuring conformity with established standards.
  • Duplicate Record Management: Identify and merge duplicate records to maintain a clean database.
  • Parent Company Review: Analyze organizational structures and condense multiple entries under one parent company where appropriate.
  • Dealer Type Review: Review and classify dealers by type, business subtype, and OEM designation.
  • Billing ID Management: Assist with the manual updating and synchronization of billing IDs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all updates and validations performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve inconsistencies or unclear data points.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in data entry, data validation, or database management is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and database software.
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures closely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical / Work Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
