The Grants Specialist provides pre-award grant support within Sponsored Research Operations - Integrated Support. The Grants Specialist is responsible for working with the faculty to process and review grant applications, as well as tracking and reporting on active, pending, and planned grant applications. This position entails general research administration duties. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic medical center, in government or other significant health-related non-profit; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidate must have an understanding of policies and procedures to ensure that research practices are in accordance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential to interact effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders and sponsors. Candidate must have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong ability to multi-task. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in Microsoft Office software Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $75,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
