Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location(s): Austin, TX (Remote) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and owning technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on custom scoped application development. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, the ability to interpret complex business requirements, and the capability to deliver scalable, best-practice-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Build, enhance, and maintain custom scoped applications and advanced configurations within ServiceNow.
- Solution Ownership: Deliver innovative, best-practice-aligned application solutions for internal business and technical stakeholders.
- Project Execution: Plan, execute, and control all technical tasks related to configuration, implementation, and integration activities.
- Agile Delivery: Contribute to Agile sprint planning, execution, and release cycles, ensuring throughput aligned with roadmap priorities.
- Data & Transformation: Analyze, document, and resolve complex data transformation issues and related technical challenges.
- Requirements Analysis: Translate business requirements into stable, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide subject matter expertise on custom applications, including troubleshooting and debugging.
- Compliance Reporting: Design complex dashboards and reporting models supporting advanced service level compliance tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years as a ServiceNow engineer/developer with deep specialization in custom application development.
- Custom Applications: Proven track record of designing, building, and documenting complex scoped applications.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Strong capability in building aggregated, advanced reporting and service level compliance dashboards beyond OOTB features.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in JavaScript, Glide scripting, workflows, and integrations.
- Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and release management.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US and located onshore.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-App Dev, etc.).
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow suites.
- In-depth understanding of service levels and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
