We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a full-time basis. This position requires commitment through the holiday season, with no guaranteed requests for time off during the three major holidays.


Shift Details

  • ICU Day/Night Rotation: 7 AM - 7 PM / 7 PM - 7 AM
  • Full-Time Day/Night/Weekend Holiday Rotation


Required Certifications

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA/RQI certifications only)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)


Licensing & Certifications

License: Must be currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.

Certifications:



  • Minimum: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Computer literacy; experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records is preferred.

Patient Care

The staff member must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit. This includes understanding the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and the ability to assess and interpret data reflective of the patient's status to provide age-specific care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
