Join us as our new Warehouse Coordinator

In this role, you'll be responsible for prioritizing the warehouse workload and advising warehouse personnel on the details surrounding shipments.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Coordinating and communicating shipping requirements internally and externally and preparing all related shipping documents and labels.
• Creating and managing transfer orders and inter-company shipments.
• Entering shipment data into 3PL's software programs.
• Scheduling, confirming and arranging appointments for incoming freight.
• Managing the shipping window to coordinate daily activities.
• Updating SAP with inventory adjustments, movements or documentation. Examples would be cleaning up rounding issues, processing discards or scanning. Monitoring customs and other government agency clearance for imported materials.
• Ordering and maintaining shipping supplies.
• Advising warehouse staff on work duties and prioritizing workload.
• Working with internal and external departments to resolve issues.
• Close-of-day reporting and documentation requirements of shipments.
• Acting as back up for all positions on the floor including hazmat shipping and declarations.

To succeed you must hold:

• HS diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related experience in shipping/receiving and inventory/production control
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to multi-task in a high paced, high intensity environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and communicate changes accordingly.
• A working knowledge of Chr. Hansen product and packaging requirements.
• A working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and SAP.
• Ability to use relevant equipment such as a forklift, Landoll, and pallet walker.
• Physical ability to move about the warehouse and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Location: New Berlin, WI (On-Site)

Expected salary range: $26/hr to $32/hr
