The team

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Architect / Lead Developer to drive the technical strategy, solution design, and development governance across our D365 platforms. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that all Dynamics 365 development aligns with best practices, business requirements, and long-term architectural standards.

The role





  • Define, implement, and enforce technical standards, coding practices, design patterns, and development frameworks across all Dynamics 365 environments.



  • Govern development activities across Finance & Operations (F&O), Customer Engagement (CE), and Power Platform to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance.



  • Oversee release management processes, including branching strategies, code reviews, and deployment governance.





  • Lead the end-to-end technical design and architecture of complex, integrated D365 solutions.



  • Ensure solutions are highly scalable, secure, performant, and aligned with Microsoft best practices.



  • Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and integration teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs.



  • Create architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and integration frameworks for cross-platform D365 implementations.





  • Provide hands-on technical leadership in C#, .NET, and X++ (for F&O).



  • Guide development teams on customizations, extensions, workflows, plug-ins, integrations, and Power Platform components.



  • Review and optimize code to ensure quality and maintainability.





  • Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers to support solution delivery.



  • Serve as the technical escalation point across D365 projects.



  • Partner with infrastructure and security teams to validate environmental needs, performance tuning, and compliance requirements.




What you'll bring





  • 8-12+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical roles.



  • Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and X++ for Finance & Operations.



  • Deep understanding of D365 customization, security models, integrations, and ALM principles.



  • Experience designing large-scale enterprise solutions with cross-module integrations.



  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.


  • Must be a US Citizen



As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $130k-$140k base+ bonus.

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
