Location: Fremont, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $23 per hour

This role is crucial in ensuring that materials are safely and efficiently distributed throughout the facility and externally. Ideal candidates are experienced in warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving, with leadership ability to guide small teams and drive process improvements.

Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred
  • Proficient in ERP systems, bar-coded software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively
  • Forklift certification and a California Driver's License as required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and coach team members



Physical Requirements



  • Lift up to 25 lbs independently; heavier items with assistance
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and grasping
  • Visual acuity for task accuracy
  • Work in environments with moving mechanical parts, electrical components, or chemicals
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required



Key Responsibilities



  • Distribute, store, and transport materials safely and accurately across departments and to external locations
  • Lead small teams and mentor team members on proper material handling processes
  • Train and coach staff to improve performance and maintain 5S workplace standards
  • Enter data into ERP systems, including cycle counts, inventory tracking, and shipping documentation
  • Manage shipments using UPS, FedEx, and international shipping programs
  • Prepare commercial invoices, SED forms, and track freight with common carriers
  • Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scales safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams and share data as needed to support operations
  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead implementation initiatives
