Security Officer - Residential Entry Point

As a Security Officer - Residential Entry Point in Sarasota, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with residents and guests, offering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the residential property, verifying identification and/or authorization of residents, guests, and vendors.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with questions or concerns related to property access and security-related procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including building interiors, exteriors, and surrounding areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while on post.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response actions when required.
• Communicate with property management, residents, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
