Description

The Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing Amada's processes. This role ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of materials and products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Oversee and manage the complete process from procurement to delivery, ensuring
alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
* Develop and implement strategies that drive operational excellence, efficiency, and
cost reduction.
* Oversee counts.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
and accountability.
* Utilize Infor/Syteline ERP to manage demand planning, advanced forecasting, materials
management, production scheduling, and supplier coordination.
* Analyze data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and optimize levels.
* Negotiate and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with different departments to help with business objectives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical sourcing
practices.
* Prepare and present regular reports on performance, risk management, and key
performance indicators (KPIs).
* Drive initiatives to implement digital transformation and automation within processes
using Infor/Syteline tools.
* In-office work 5 days a week at the assigned branch office.
* English speaking during an emergency and while performing job duties where there is potential
for an emergency. This does not apply to casual conversations between employees while not
performing a job duty

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Prepares special reports as needed.
* Provides supporting documents as requested by auditors.
* Assists in miscellaneous duties within the company.
* Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by complying with all aspects of the
corporate environmental, health and safety program.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
* Chief Operating Officer

SUBORDINATE STAFF:
* Manager
* Manager

KNOWLEDGE:
* Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of equivalent experience in warehouse distribution management.
* 5+ years of experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with Infor/Syteline ERP system required.
* Proven success in developing and executing strategies.

SKILLS:
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and detail oriented. Able to lead, train, and
handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized.
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies a plus.
* Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Office.

TRAVEL:
* Very little travel.
