Overview

This position is for an experienced and proactive Desktop Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for managing, deploying, and maintaining secure end-user computing environments across an unclassified network. This position requires both hands-on technical capability and strong leadership skills to guide a team that supports mission-critical systems in compliance with federal IT standards and cybersecurity regulations.

You'll collaborate closely with IT security, infrastructure, and program management teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient endpoint operations that align with Electric Boat and government requirements.



Qualifications

Required

    Bachelor's of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering or Software Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in desktop engineering or endpoint management, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience supporting IT systems within a government or defense contracting environment.
  • Understanding of federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, CMMC, FISMA).

Preferred

  • Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, or JAMF Certified.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and MDM tools.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and task automation.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
  • Experience with Intune
