GENERAL SUMMARY Department: Float Pool Schedule: Minimum 3 days a week, 8am-5pm, must be willing to work weekends Location: Southeast MI- Will be mainly remote work but will need to come into the if needed Working remotely on inputting data into our system Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing. Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies Transcribe patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications. CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date preferred EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Ascension Medical Group MI Department: Physician Support Services 001 Shift: Day Job Union Code: Not Applicable
