About The Position The Distribution Design Consultant position is primarily responsible for technical design, estimating and system improvements regarding construction on utility distribution lines and/or mains. Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, etc.) and 5 years of directly relevant experience is required (e.g., utility distribution line design or construction, GIS mapping, cost estimation or control, surveying, engineering or design experience, construction, construction inspection, project management, etc). Associate's Degree and 7 years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Good decision-making, communication, and human relations skills. Knowledge of electric and/or gas standards, procedures and distribution systems preferred. Basic mechanical skills. Additional Information Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Subject to emergency call-out and duty supervisor responsibilities. Considerable walking over rough terrain. Compensation Range: $74,800.00 - $115,900.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
