Engineering Specialist III

We arehiringin the Equipment Engineering and Services department within the Recording Heads Operations at Seagate Technology, Inc. in Bloomington, MN. We are looking forskilledEngineering Technician. In this position, you will work on maintenance related activities on equipment in our Wafer Fab Cleanroom and actively interact cross-functionally with Process, RD, and Manufacturing departments. We are a team-oriented organization with a priority to enhance technician skills at all levels in the department.

• Maintain, troubleshootand repair of Photo,Plating& Test equipment in Wafer fabrication
• Work on electronic circuits, PLC's, Robotics and read schematics
• Follow and complete PM instructions
• Maintain, repairand troubleshootequipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Includes Technicians that repair andmaintainproduction and production test equipment
• Establishand maintainpreventive maintenance programs and procedures
• Administertraining programs to ensure proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programsand procedures
• Workon assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understandimplicationof work and makerecommendations for solutions
• Determinemethods and procedures on new assignments
• Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel, as a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways
• Work Days-A Shift Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday/ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30am to 6:30pmin a clean room environment

• Willing and ability to work in a cleanroom

• Experience providing support for PC/IT Systems
• Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Proven experience of installing and supporting Windows OS
• Ability to work 12 hour rotating shift (A-Shift 6:30 am - 6:30 pm) in a clean room
• Associates degree (2 year degree)

Salary:Theestimated base wage range for this positionis$26.44- $37.82/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location andadditionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
