Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team.

This is a full-time benefits eligible position.

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various consulting projects. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of human services experts to ensure that our clients' needs are met and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, the project manager will work as a consultant on projects that are aligned with her/his areas of expertise.

This role requires flexible scheduling and the ability to work across multiple time zones and limited travel (client projects, conferences, and company meetings)

The Project Manager will:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop a work plan within our templates that define project goals, objectives, and deliverables. Maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and project team members. Regularly communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders. Address any concerns or challenges proactively and professionally.
  • Allocate and optimize resources, including personnel, finances, and materials, to ensure project success. Collaborate with team members to identify and address resource gaps or constraints.
  • Assist the Managing Principal in coordinating, implementing and maintaining quality control processes that ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards. Monitor and evaluate project outcomes, seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Generate regular project status reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  • Provide consulting services on client projects where there is alignment with skills and capabilities.
  • Provide project management and coordination for internal projects as requested (such as conferences, marketing, etc.)
  • Meet billable productivity expectations as defined for the position annually within the context of available billable work. Prioritize client billable work over non billable internal assignments.
