Responsibilities:
* Previous automotive coating application experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions accurately
* Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to train and operate forklift
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a research and development setting. Ecoat production. Job duties include:
* Setting up and operating equipment to run and support Electrocoat coating process
* Reduces, loads and cleans out samples for lab equipment
* Coordinates process sequencing, parts and panel handling
* Collects and provides data - enters process and product data into tracking system and worksheets
* Supports operational excellence and production systems uptime
* Works with supervisors, engineers, EH&S, technical and product management to ensure equipment & products introduced are thoroughly vetted, validated and the process mapped from a facility, EH&S, and application perspective
* Follows and is knowledgeable of all EH&S guidelines and identifies areas for EH&S improvement
