Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Controls and Electrical Engineer to support and optimize the electrical and control systems infrastructure within our Semiconductor Probe Card manufacturing facility in Farmers Branch, TX. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of facility systems that support cleanroom operations, process tools, and critical utilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, maintain, and optimize electrical distribution systems (low and medium voltage), backup power systems, and control infrastructure.

  • Lead engineering projects involving PLCs, SCADA, BMS, and other automation/control systems for facilities equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and controls issues across facilities systems such as HVAC, process gases, ultrapure water, and chemical delivery.

  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and system documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NEC, NFPA, OSHA).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, maintenance, and EHS to support operational goals.

  • Manage contractors and vendors for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and control systems.

  • Lead capacity expansion, tool install readiness, and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system failures or performance deviations.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training programs.
