Advanced Software Engineer

Acara Solution is looking for an Advanced Software Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ.

• As a software engineer for the Space Force MUOS Program, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team.
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a real-time embedded project.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex system problems by analyzing both code and UML models used for code generation.
• Develop and maintain software for real-time embedded applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Work with UML models to support model-based engineering.
• Collaborate with other engineers in a team-oriented, Agile/DevOps environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on real-time embedded systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in model-based design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development tools and methodologies (Agile, DevOps).

• Master's Degree
• Agile experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
• Good understanding of UML.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.
• Knowledge of cellular telecommunications protocols and systems (UMTS).
